Famous Taiwan Peanut Ice Cream is here in Singapore

Everyone’s dessert selection just got a lot sweeter.

Foreign desserts are known to make a splash among locals in Singapore. Look at Spanish frozen yoghurt llaollao and the various small bingsu joints around the island. Singaporeans seem to love new and exclusive desserts originating overseas.

Dessert Story’s new peanut ice-cream roll may just be the next big thing for people with a sweet tooth for foreign snacks.

The famous Taiwanese dessert is made with a thin popiah-like skin wrapped around 3 scoops of ice-cream, garnished with peanut shavings and coriander. All this for just $3.50.

There are two ice cream flavours available: coconut and yam. You can choose 1 flavour, or pay $3.90 to have both.

Dessert Story will also launch another new dessert called Duo Ice (S$5.90). There are 2 flavours for selection; strawberry and mango. A dessert that is perfect on a hot day.
