Now you can at Blue Willow. Located along Clementi Road, this is your chance to step into the world of Avatar. No, you will not be able to transfer your consciousness to a Na’vi avatar, but you get to dine amongst the mesmerising lights, props and murals depicting Pandora’s fascinating life.
As with the environment of the café and Pandora, the food is presented in a mystical, mesmerising way as well. Everything served there is all naturally dyed so don’t worry! If the humans and Na’vi collaborated together, their cuisine would look this.
One of the signature dishes is Eywa Natural Blue Carbonara. The blue pasta is coated with cream sauce and served with a sous vide egg, rocket leaves, radish slices and a tuile for garnish. It is almost like a deconstructed carbonara!
Imagine yourself eating the freshest fish caught straight from the rivers of Pandora with Blue Willow’s Grilled Barramundi. It is grilled barramundi served on top of cooked baby spinach and garnished with radish slices, radish sprouts, cherry tomatoes and blue mustard cream.
Now for something that even Neytiri would be pleased: her very own Blue Pancakes. These thick and fluffy blue pancakes are topped with maple sago and garnished with blueberries, strawberries and crumble for that extra crunch. It feels as if Neytiri foraged the ingredients herself to create this stack of beautiful pancakes (for Jake maybe).
If you’re feeling for something a something a bit lighter but rich at the same time, get the Tea by Lupicia. Made with Japanese tea, this delicate dessert is mousse and cake layered together and covered with a gorgeous blue-turquoise glaze. The soft textures are countered with crunchy brown bits that will pop in your mouth!
This is your opportunity to not get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but also to visit a totally different world.
