For the very first time, Hattendo has opened in Singapore at Tanjong Pagar Centre.
Hattendo was founded by Mr Kaoru Morimitsu and opened the first store in 1933. Now, there are 18 stores in Japan and several outlets in South Korea, Taiwan and Philippines.
Initially, Hattendo has more than 100 products. But, as the ideals of Hattendo were “happiness for the customers” and “happiness for everyone working at Hattendo”, the products were reduced to 1.
The 1 product left is the mouth-watering Japanese cream buns that come in 5 flavours; Matcha, Chocolate, Custard, Azuki and Cream ($2.50 each).
