On the 29th and 30th July, you will be transported back to the 1980s, as Chinatown Food Street turns into the nostalgia “Pasar” you or your parents may recall.
In conjunction with Singapore Food Festival, Chinatown Street brings back the award-winning “The 50Cents Fest” event for the second consecutive year running.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the wide variety of heritage food at as little as 50 cents! Look forward to the sumptuous local fare of more than 40 dishes at The 50 Cents Fest with more than 20 dishes priced at just 50 cents!
You will be able to find countless old school dishes such as Hokkien Rickshaw Noodle, UFO (Fried Oyster Cake), Hakka Abacus Seed, Red Glutinous Wine Chicken, Teochew Ah Balling, Ice Ball and more!
You can also expect to ignite your happiest childhood moments and younger years through the interactive 80s games, as well as memory jogging sights and sounds. The 50 Cents Fest promises non-stop fun for the young and old.
Ps: Come in your best 80s fashion or get spotted taking pictures with any of the 80s drama characters at the event, and you get a chance in winning yourself some attractive prizes.
